Musical Theater

The Sound of Music (2015)
In 2015, I participated in my first musical production under the Camerata Bach, an independent classical orchestra group in Nicaragua. 'The Sound of Music' became my introduction to the world of musical theater, and the moment I realized my love for simultaneous singing, acting, and dancing. Though I had a small role as the young Gretl, it became a small insight into my future endeavors.
Operas (2016)
A few months after 'The Sound of Music' I was invited to participate in the children's choir in the first Latin American Puccinian Festival. In February of 2016, I participated in 'Turandot' and 'La bohème,' learning about lyrical interpretation and dramatic operatic performances.

Les Misérables (2023-2024)
Following the pandemic, I was chosen to play Cosette in Nicaragua's first adaptation of 'Les Misérables.' For a six-show run, I played my first lead role and had the opportunity to use my upper vocal range. Due to its success, I was fortunate enough to be invited again in 2024 for two exclusive shows.

Nina: The Musical (2023)
In 2023, I had the opportunity to participate in an original musical titled 'Nina.' The project lasted 6 months, and all profit went to help young children with burns and cleft lip and palate. I participated in the choir and was an understudy for the character Belle. It was an enriching experience, and I got to gather resilience and resistance through dancing and singing simultaneously.
Mamma Mia! (2024)
In July of 2024, I was invited to audition for Sophie in Nicaragua's first adaptation of 'Mamma Mia!,' and from a pool of 60 young women was honored to play her for a total of 9 shows. With only a six-week preparation period (something that had never been done before in Nicaragua,) we sold 95% of seats and are currently preparing for a one-night-only performance at the Crowne Plaza Hotel.

Broadway Street (2025)
In February of 2025, I had my first performance of the year - playing 'Glinda' on "Broadway Street',' a combination of "Wicked," "Annie," and "The Greatest Showman." With only six weeks of rehearsals, I got to learn more about simultaneous dancing and singing, building up my stamina, and learning how to put on shows in short time periods. It was also my last show with two of my closest friends, with whom I've been performing for 10 years and are now about to attend college.
